Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting your wallet and using QuantumEVM Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the marketplace.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use this marketplace. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Marketplace Description

QuantumEVM Marketplace is a decentralized marketplace that connects buyers and sellers using blockchain-based smart contract escrow. We provide the platform and escrow infrastructure. We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.

4. User Accounts

• Accounts are tied to your blockchain wallet address.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys.
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions.
• You must provide accurate information in your profile.

5. Prohibited Items and Conduct

You may not list, sell, or facilitate the sale of:

• Illegal goods or services under applicable law.
• Stolen, counterfeit, or fraudulent items.
• Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials.
• Controlled substances or drug paraphernalia.
• Items that infringe on intellectual property rights.
• Any item prohibited by your local jurisdiction.

Additionally, you may not:

• Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive practices.
• Attempt to manipulate prices, reviews, or search results.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the marketplace or smart contracts.
• Use the platform for money laundering or terrorist financing.

6. Escrow and Payments

• Payments are held in smart contract escrow until delivery is confirmed.
• A platform fee is deducted from each transaction (see current fee schedule on-chain).
• Sellers must provide accurate shipping information before funds are released.
• Buyers must verify receipt of goods in a timely manner.
• Unclaimed funds may be subject to auto-release after the configured time period.
• All on-chain transactions are irreversible once confirmed.

7. Disputes

Either party may raise a dispute through the escrow system. Disputes are reviewed by marketplace governance. Decisions are final and enforced through the smart contract. The marketplace reserves the right to resolve disputes at its discretion, including forcing refunds or releasing payments.

8. Platform Fees

The marketplace charges a percentage-based fee on completed transactions. Fee rates are set through the governance smart contract and may vary based on marketplace volume. Current fee rates are publicly visible on-chain.

9. Limitation of Liability

QuantumEVM Marketplaceprovides the marketplace platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of items listed by sellers. We are not responsible for losses due to smart contract interactions, gas fees, blockchain network issues, or wallet security breaches. Our liability is limited to the platform fees collected for the specific transaction in dispute.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or ban any wallet address that violates these terms, engages in prohibited conduct, or is flagged through the governance system. Banned wallets cannot create new listings or purchases. Pending escrow funds will be handled according to the dispute resolution process.

11. Law Enforcement Cooperation

We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies in response to valid legal process. If illegal activity is reported, we will provide available information to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

12. Intellectual Property

The marketplace platform, design, and code are the property of QuantumEVM Marketplace. Users retain ownership of content they create (listings, reviews, messages). By posting content, you grant the marketplace a license to display it on the platform.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
